Handicap parking permits
for Livonia residents
are available at no charge from the Town Clerk's Office. In order
to apply for a permit, you and your doctor must complete an Application
for a Parking Permit for Persons With Severe Disabilities.
You must also bring the driver's license of the person to whom
the permit was issued, unless that person does not have a driver's
license.
Upon receipt of the
application, the Town Clerk will issue a Temporary or Permanent
Parking Permit. A Temporary Parking Permit can be issued for up
to 6 months, at the discretion of the doctor. A Permanent Parking
Permit is issued for a three year period. At the end of three
years, the parking permit may be renewed at the Town Clerk's office,
provided the permit holder still
resides in the town.
