Autumn in the Village

On Saturday, September 11, 2010 the Village of Livonia will host the 8th annual “Autumn in the Village” festival. It will kick off at 11am with a parade beginning on Summers St. and proceed down Main Street to the festival site.

Art, craft & specialty vendors will be set up on Commercial St. from 11am to 6pm. Back again will be the bungy trampoline and human foosball, as well as the world record holding juggler/unicyclist and the exotic animal/bird/reptile display (WEC). There will be gift certificate drawings and two bikes will be given away to a couple of lucky kids. Friends of the Livonia Library will be having a book sale on the Library lawn and the Livonia Kiwanis will present “Bulldogs on Parade”. Of course there will be plenty of food to choose from including a clam bake provided by the Rotary.

Music throughout the day includes the Southern Tier All-Star Jazz Band, Steel Alchemy Community Steel Band, Fiddlers of the Genesee, TableTop Three and the 7pm – 11pm “party band” will be –“Killin’ Time”.

New this year is Karaoke, so get your singing voice ready and join the fun! All of this and more packed into one fun filled day for all ages. As always admission and most activities are free.
