TOWN OF LIVONIA
COLLECTOR'S NOTICE
Please take notice that I, Colleen
West, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Livonia,
County of Livingston, State of New York, have duly received the tax
roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of
Livonia for the year 2012.
In person payments may be made at Five
Star Bank, 3261 Rochester Road, Lakeville, New York, beginning
December 30, 2011. Mail payments to: Colleen West, Tax Collector,
c/o Five Star Bank, PO Box 399, Warsaw, NY 14569.
Take further notice that taxes may be
paid on or before January 31, 2012, without charge or interest. On
all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of
1% for February and 2% for March.
Pursuant to Section 987 of Real
Property Tax Law, delinquent notices will be mailed on or after the
31st day following the expiration of the period for
interest-free payment of Taxes (March 2, 2012). The law mandates
that the expenses of mailing such notice shall be an additional
penalty of two dollars ($2.00) against the parcel.
Take further notice, that pursuant to
the provisions of the law, the tax roll of the Town of Livonia, will
be returned to the County Treasurer of Livingston County on the 3rd
day of April, 2012.
